Not only a clever idea, but aptly named! Voted for it. Would you mind voting for my 3 at National TV Photo contest for me, now? The three URLs below are pointing to three photographs that I have in an international photo contest. I would like to have your vote for each of them because if I can get 250 votes or more for each I will be entered in the final count for this contest. Should I go on to win, I could have my photograph appear on television and in magazines! Just copy each URL, one at a time, and connect to it in your URL line, usually at the top of your screen, and vote! Please! Please! Please! The contest ends midnight June 30th, 2013 so please don't delay. Maybe even ask your friends to do it for me too?? Just forward it for me. Wonderful image! So unique! Care to share on how you did that!! Congrats on your 2nd place win!
Richard Piper replied:
Thank you for your lovely comments, Debra. Here is how I did it... After peeling the top section, I carefully removed the exposed orange and replaced it with the apple. The coiled peel would not stay where I wanted it, so I attached a cotton thread to it and then supported it from above. The image was shot on film, then transferred to digital and the thread removed in Photoshop.
