Description
Conker... The seed of the horse-chestnut tree.
For those not in the know, conkers is a traditional English children's game using horse-chestnut seeds. The game is played by two people, each with a conker threaded onto a piece of string, who then take turns in striking each other's conker until one breaks.
My state-of-the-art retro conker comes ready grown on the string, complete with armoured casing to put dread and fear into your opponent!

What a fun rendition of a conker! I'd never heard of them until I showed a lovely horse chestnut seed to my brother-in-law, who's a Brit. He immediately said, "Conker!" and explained what it's about, as you so thoughtfully have. L/F

Thanks Randi - Conkers are just coming into season here in the UK at the moment and are starting to lay in hoards... I love them.
